  • March 27, 2016 – Book Launch of Unless a Perfect Rhythm Sets In by Dr Veena Sinha

The novel is a riveting story set in the badlands of feudal Bundelkhand where a young girl fights to unshackle herself from the bondage of dead customs and traditions, suffers in the bargain, but survives in the end.  Chief Guest R.Parasuram, State Election Commissioner, released the book.

  • June 11, 2016 – Book Talk & Launch of Reality Bytes – Role of HR in Today’s World

Club Literati organised Meet the Author event at Courtyard by Marriott on 11th June 2016. The book titled Reality Bytes – Role of HR in Today’s World is written by Aparna Sharma. The book describes the fundamentals of HR practices. It is loaded with suggestions for those who manage people anywhere, explains complex HR concepts in a lucid and easy style. Its Hindi edition was released by Mr. Padamvir Singh (IAS) Director General Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Public Policy & Analysis.

  • July 31, 2016: Book Talk session with Rajesh M. Iyer,author of Evading the Shadows

Set in the familiar world of the Mahabharata, Evading the Shadows  is a fast paced spy thriller depicting the 13 years of the Pandavas’ exile. Rajesh M. Iyer has worked for many years with the media industry as editor, writer, creative director and creative producer. He was associated in various capacities with TV serials like‘Colgate Top Ten’ (Zee TV), ‘O’Maria’ (Sony TV), ‘Mujhe Chand Chahiye’ (Zee TV) and ‘Khabdoo Bigdoo’ (Hungama TV) and publishing houses like Magna (Head of Books Division), Macmillan (Creative Head of Corporate Division) and Amar Chitra Katha (Vice President – Creative).

  • Sept 04, 2016: Ghazal evening with Sarah and Samar Mehdi

In a rare fusion of traditional style & contemporary singing Ghazals were presented by young siblings Samar & Sarah Mehdi on Sunday, 4th September 2016 at State Museum Auditorium.

Samar Mehdi is a musician, composer, film maker, songwriter, and producer, currently based in Mumbai. He gave the Background Scorefor MP Tourism’s Film on Simhastha Maha Kumbh and was also voted as one of the best guitarist in an online contest.

Sarah Mehdi has a Master’s Degree in Philosophy from Miranda House, Delhi University. She is a singer, writer and a blogger.
